Under the leadership of BU Head, Associate Research Manager is responsible for managing a client servicing team (6-8 members) to ensure best quality of service delivery and client satisfaction through smooth team operation and project optimization.
Client Management & Consulting (40%) - Daily
Build and own relationship with client’s key contact point to manage client expectation & frequently get client feedback on overall servicing.
Ability to present and manage stakeholders during client presentations/ business reviews with Department head level from client side with support from seniors
Be in charge of all client’s related questions including challenges, contract renewal (with assinged clients)
Team Management (40% ) - Daily
Ability to train/coach & provide feedback to team members on regular basis to establish a high standard of performance and hold associates firmly accountable for meeting those standards.
Utilize the Performance and Development Plan to communicate and assess performance objectives, competency lists and development plans for direct reports
Ability to plan and monitor resource including workload balancing, recruitment to deliver business expectations
Leading the workflow across departments with an aim to solve a problem, improve productivity and cost efficiency
Functional/Technical (20%) - Monthly/Upon request
Host the sharing session on up-to-date research techniques and applications
Understand deeply multiple categories and able to train/equip associates the understanding to deliver client expectations.
Able to work with BDs for client quotation and manage resource within commitment.
Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field
Understanding about FMCG, Electronics industry is a plus
Communication & Interpersonal skills - ability to communicate effectively and build connections with team members and clients
Team manangement - Ability to manage workload and development for team members
Analytical - Can review client presentation to ensure the quality and actionable recommendations
Presentation - Able to present in important client presentations/workshop
Problem Solving - ability to identify root cause and propose potential solutions for both internal operational process and clients
At least 1 year working experience about Management in Market Research or Marketing/ Trade position.
